Recently I have noticed a pattern in my life which made me shudder. Not the cause and effect or Karma and its fruits. But something more subtle.
I am not sure what brought on this understanding but I am pretty much sure that this shit is happening all my life and I failed to notice it.
For every good news in my life there appears to be a bad news that’s just lurking round the corner.
I remember when I was in my Tenth Class, My only goal was to score 75%. I studied hard for that. Before the exams I burnt the midnight oil, revising the books again and again…I have done all that. Finally, when I did get the results I was happy to note that I received more than expected. I was literally on the top of the world. I went home and informed my mom who was so happy that she purchased sweets to distribute them to all our neighbors. Unfortunately, that’s when my happiness ended!! The neighbor’s dumb son got more than what I did. Mom was a bit surprised but congratulated them, and made a dash to other neighbors. Unfortunately, the same saga continued. In every house there is some on or some relative or some friend who got better than what I did!!! Needless to say, the happiness didn’t last long.
The same shit continued ..into my teenage to adult life…it kept appearing. I used to think I gave the best and for the time being , I did feel that I got the best. But, when I look around I do notice that this is not true. I do know that I shouldn’t be comparing my success with others …but when living in a society it’s hard to ignore
Now that I did notice that success and its joys are only for a moment, I was a bit confused. Is this the almighty’s way of saying that I shouldn’t get overwhelmed by success and stay rooted to ground?
One thing is for sure after my RELIZATION , my life just got more curious and curious and am afraid of too much of happiness and the worst part is I have no idea how to handle it!!!!!

Of Football, Waka Waka and Octopus- Saint Paul
2010 Football World Cup will be remembered not for the hip shaking Shakria’s Waka Waka, nor would it remembered for the fallen gods- who let down their fans, no- it would not even be remembered for the Davids( the underdogs: Spain and Netherlands) defeating the mighty Goliath .
2010 World cup would be remembered for Nostradamus who came in the form of an octopus called Paul. Even comparing this eight legged creature to Nostradamus doesn’t do any justice- as some of his predictions went wrong. But not our Saint Paul which has 100% success rate..Germans and the rest of the world are madly in love with this creature. But things changed in Semi Finals! The Germans world cup dreams came crashing down when the delicious tasting thing choose Spain over Germany and worst, the prediction, indeed, came true! World still loves it but not the Germans who were understandably upset. Now, there are talks of killing it – a sort of revange – for betraying its country by picking Spain
It makes me wonder whether the world has taken leave of its common sense... come on kids it’s only a game... no need to show your brutality on this poor creature. WTF is the matter?? Take its predictions with a pinch of salt and forget about it...but unfortunately we, the highly evolved intelligent creatures can’t take anything lightly..not in this envirovement, where ever other minute News Channels shows “Breaking News”. So as we enter the last phase of the game, when Sapin takes on Netherlands in the grand finale, all I can do is pray for this poor creature.
Incidentally, Paul has picked Spain to win the finals against the Holland ...No big deal, I would have done the same!! But for once, I would really, really love to see Paul’s prediction go wrong.. not because I love the Dutch team..but just for once to see this creature as –well- just a creature and not as an infallible almighty.
May the beat team win the game!

A new beginning …
A new dawn of my life, a beginning which I hope will help me showcase my creative side- which I was not aware I have, and desperately hope that “I DO HAVE”.
I am not sure what topics to cover, I tried searching other blogs and come out with some creative ways of presenting my thoughts- which as of now are incoherent, but in the end decided on writing whatever comes to my mind. Come on, it’s not that easy copying someone else’s idea!
So beware, it could be politics, sports, movies, and books, or anything and everything I feel like.
